A team, led by Julian Mansel-Thomas has recently completed the handover of the first phase of this community project for the Towy Community Church to convert the former St Ivel cheese factory into a 10-pin bowling alley, a food bank and furniture recycling facility.

The bowling centre will add to the county town’s leisure facilities, and due to its success it is hoped that design work on future phases, including a Community Church and Conference Centre/multi-purpose function suite will follow shortly to add to the sites potential for a multitude of uses in the future.

Ample car parking has been provided on site, and cladding work on future phases has already commenced to make the building more aesthetically appealing for its users, and to be more in keeping with its new commercial as opposed to its former industrial aesthetic.
