Fish Processing and Storage Units, Milford Docks
June 9, 2015, 3:50pm

A team, led by Gareth Scourfield, Chris Richards and Steve Duignan, has recently handed over two buildings in the Docks to the Milford Haven Port Authority.  One of the units will provide 4 food standards units so that fish processing, particularly for shellfish, can be dealt with at the dockside, instead of having to be sent elsewhere in the country, with the second unit providing storage and cleaning facilities of the pallets that fish are landed from the trawlers in.

The combined value of the building contract both buildings was just under £1.5M and the project was made possible by a significant EEC grant as it forms a vital part of the planned redevelopment of the Docks to act as a further quality destination and tourist attraction for the County, whilst promoting significant urban regeneration to this busy working dock for fishing trawlers, ship repairs, and leisure craft in the Docks Marina.
