St Davids Farm Stay, Pembrokeshire
June 4, 2015, 9:21am

PDL, led by Gareth Scourfield and Carl Bentley, have recently been successful in obtaining detailed planning permission from the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority for the conversion of surplus, fairly utilitarian barns, into bunkhouse accommodation for up to 100 guests, split into two blocks for buildings that do not strictly comply with local planning policies.

The client is the brother of the owner of Celtic Camping in Berea on the other side of Britain’s smallest city, St Davids, and it is hoped that the two farms will help satisfy the growing demand for this type of accommodation.

Work is expected to start on site very shortly, with a view to partial completion for this year’s summer season, and subject to funding, be fully complete by summer 2016, and the project will include a range of sustainable features as the site is south facing overlooking St Brides Bay and has a stunning outlook.
